Board-Certified OB-GYN and Surgeon | Executive Leadership Recalibration | Trauma Release Specialist | Cancer Remission Facilitator

Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat is a board-certified physician and surgeon with over four decades of clinical and surgical experience. For 19 years, she was the only Black woman OB-GYN surgeon in private practice in San Diego County, with zero complications and zero lawsuits. She served as a clinical instructor and mentor at UCSD and past president of the San Diego Women Physicians Association.
Today, her work spans executive leadership recalibration, institutional trauma response, and cancer remission support through structured nervous system stabilization and targeted trauma release interventions.

From Burnout to Breakthrough

In 1999, Dr. Carolle left surgery – not because she lacked skill or success – but because she was burning out.
After decades of high-performance medicine, a panic attack forced her to confront what many physicians never admit: sustained pressure without nervous system recovery leads to collapse.
Quitting felt like failure. Staying would have destroyed her health.
That crisis became a turning point.
Over the next 26 years, she identified something critical:
Burnout is not weakness.
It is unresolved trauma and accumulated nervous system overload.
Her body had been “keeping score” – every emergency managed calmly, every devastating diagnosis delivered before moving immediately to the next patient, every decision made under pressure without space to recover.
She began developing structured, rapid stabilization techniques designed to release trauma at its root and restore functional capacity quickly and sustainably.

The Dr. Carolle Method™

Over 26 years, Dr. Carolle developed and refined four core interventions:
DCIRT (Dr. Carolle Instant Reset Technique)

A rapid-response intervention used during acute distress to restore immediate stabilization.

DCIAM (Dr. Carolle Instant Anti-Distress Method)

A tree-breath structured nervous system reset using controlled breathing, cognitive centering, affirmation and precision tapping.

DCSRT (Dr. Carolle Self-Reset Technique)

A 30-second self-administered reset for decision fatigue, administrative overwhelm, and cognitive overload.

METRT (Murat Emotional Trauma Release Technique)

A targeted somatic intervention using Traditional Chinese Medicine acupressure principles for deep trauma release.
These techniques were developed not in theory – but in crisis environments where immediate results were necessary.

Crisis-Tested Application

Dr. Carolle’s methods have been applied in:

• San Diego Mesa College (2012) – Following a student suicide witnessed by 20 staff members, group and individual trauma release sessions were conducted. The lead therapist later confirmed long-term sustained results more than a decade later.

• Del Cerro, San Diego (2017) – After a drive-by shooting witnessed by family members, targeted trauma release was performed days later when traditional therapy had failed to stabilize the family.

• AKESNA Catholic Sisters, Haiti (2024) – After the murder of two sisters during escalating gang violence, trauma stabilization techniques allowed the remaining sisters to continue serving dangerous communities.

• Haitian Bridge Alliance (2024–Present) – Ongoing monthly trauma stabilization work with 150–200 immigrants, medical trainees, and crisis-exposed professionals.

These methods have been applied in disaster zones, institutional crisis, executive environments, and medical settings under extreme pressure.

Haiti: Leadership Under Constraint

For over 26 years, Dr. Carolle has served La Vallée de Jacmel, Haiti, through her nonprofit, Health Through Communications Foundation (founded 1993).
She serves as co-administrator of Hôpital St. Joseph, the only healthcare facility serving 18 villages in the region.
Her work includes:

• Training healthcare staff in root-cause-based care
• Developing low-resource trauma stabilization strategies
• Educational scholarships and community programs
• Infrastructure initiatives (including a community soccer field named in her honor)

In environments where resources are scarce and pressure is constant, her methods prioritize stabilization, autonomy, and prevention of unnecessary overmedicalization.

Executive Leadership Recalibration

Drawing from her surgical precision, crisis-tested interventions, and executive leadership training through Landmark Education, Dr. Carolle now works with senior leaders operating under sustained pressure.
Her Executive Leadership Recalibration immersions focus on removing internal interference patterns, restoring nervous system regulation, and increasing decision-making clarity.
The work is structured, time-limited, and results-oriented.

Cancer Remission Support

Dr. Carolle’s work with individuals navigating cancer focuses on addressing emotional root causes, reducing nervous system overload, and supporting remission through structured, integrated interventions.
Her approach complements—not replaces—medical treatment and is grounded in decades of clinical experience.

Global Perspective

Having lived and trained across Haiti, Mexico, Jamaica, and the United States—and fluent in French, Haitian Kreyòl, Spanish, and English—Dr. Carolle brings a multicultural perspective to her work.
Her leadership integrates medicine, crisis response, and structured trauma release across diverse communities.

Testimonials

“She is a one-of-a-kind force of healing, science, and soul – Dr. Carolle is a physician with the analytical rigor of a scientist and the depth of someone who understands the mind-body connection at its root. Her work bridges disciplined medical and surgical training with holistic precision.
