Orgasm Help
Difficulty having an orgasm? This new device may be just the right thing for
you.
There is a new medical device called
Eros approved by the FDA. The FDA believes that women's sexual dysfunction can indeed be a
medical, as well as psychological, problem. This device helps a woman achieve orgasm by
pumping blood into the clitoris. The rational is that blood flow into the clitoris can be
as important for a woman's sexual arousal and satisfaction as a man.
Eros, available by prescription only
for women with "sexual arousal disorder," costs about $360. It is manufactured
by UroMetrics Inc., of St. Paul, Minnesota and is made of a soft suction cup, connected
via a tube to a hand-held battery-operated vacuum device. A woman places the cup over her
clitoris and then turns on the vacuum which pumps blood into the clitoris. The suction can
be adjusted until the clitoris feels engorged with blood. The device is then turned off
and the suction cup removed.
