Carolle Jean-Murat, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Medical Intuitive
|
Dr. Carolle was born and raised
in Haiti, and comes from a family
of healers that includes intuitives,
shamans, midwives, and herbalists.
Her medical training included
the best universities, hospitals,
and healing temples in five different
cultures. See Curriculum Vitae.
She had a successful holistic
private practice as a board-certified
OB-GYN and a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists in San Diego from
1982 till 1992. In 1992 she decided
to quit obstetrics and dedicate
herself as a holistic gynecologist
and menopause specialist. In
1999 she chose to quit doing
surgery because most of the women
who came to her had symptoms
that could be healed without
surgical intervention.
As a physician who has worked
with patients from the poorest
women of Haiti to the wealthiest
of Southern California, Dr. Carolle
has found that there are four
key components of health, which
together determine the overall
well-being and quality of your
life: mental, physical, spiritual,
and financial aspects. But
each aspect can contribute to
stress and physical problems.
Just like a four-legged table,
if just one is off kilter, the
table will wobble, or topple
over.
In 2003, she opened the revolutionary
Dr. Carolle Wellness Center for
Women, offering holistic
and integrative medicine to those
tired of a "cookie cutter" approach
to their midlife care. All
this time and through much experience,
her gift of healing through intuition
was getting stronger and stronger.
She eventually closed her practice
in 2005, frustrated with the
present medical system.
Having found her true calling of healing the root cause of a condition instead of a symptom – which only puts a band-aid on a gapping wound – she now dedicates herself to offer intuitive second opinions, consultations, and one-on-one retreats to men and women – especially those who find themselves stuck at a fork road on their life journey.
In 1993 she founded the nonprofit
organization Health Through
Communications Foundation,
and is Director of its Angels
for Haiti Projects. She volunteers
bi-annually with a team of educators
and healthcare providers who
provide free medical care in
Haiti.
As an international motivational
speaker, Dr. Carolle brings her
message of self-empowerment to
women through lectures, radio,
her own TV show that ran from
1996 to 1997 “Let’s
Stay Healthy,” TV appearances,
articles, CDs, DVDs, and her comprehensive series of assessments. Her philosophy
is that “good health does
not consist solely of having
a healthy body,” and "the answer is within you."
Dr. Carolle is the author of
the award-winning book "Menopause
Made Easy," which
includes a chapter on Healthy
Aging by Louise Hay,the
book "Mind,
Body, Soul & Money,
and the book Natural Pregnancy
A-Z. She is also a contributing
author of Millennium 2000:
A Positive Approach with Louise
L. Hay and Friends.
Dr. Carolle is one of the ten worldwide
doctors featured in Fabulous
Female Physicians in The Women's
Hall of Fame Series by Sharon & Florence
Kirsh.
